Sharda University Admission Test (SUAT) is a national level entrance test for admission in diverse programmes conducted by Sharda University. This entrance test is aimed at assessing the talent of the aspirants to check their eligibility for the programmes they have applied for. There is just a 4-step process to apply for SUAT online.

Scholarships granted based on Academic Merits:

The students on their satisfactory performance in Sharda University Admission Test (SUAT) and Personal Interview (PI) and depending on their merit in qualifying exams, shall be eligible for the grant of the following merit scholarships:

(vi) Students of Sharda University and other SGI institutions based in Mathura and Agra:

On their admission in M.Tech, MBA, MSc, MA (Journalism & Mass Communication) and LLM, MCA programs, a student will be eligible for the award of scholarship equivalent to 25% of their Tuition Fee of the First year. University Scholarship Policy (2017-18) would be applicable on the 2nd year.

(vii) Sports Category Scholarships:

The students who have excelled in sporting activities at National Level & State Level will be eligible for Sports Scholarship from 15% to 100% in 1st Year. (viii) Naval / Army / Air force /Coastal Guard/ CRPF Scholarship: 

Scholarship of 5% to their wards on tuition fee of 1st year in all programmes except from Medical, Dental and Architecture Programmes.

(ix) Sibling Scholarship::

Fee waiver of 5% in the first year for the student whose sibling is pursuing an education at the university. Proof of relation required.


  • On conclusion of Admission 2017-18, the number of scholarships granted and the names of beneficiaries will be placed on the University website.
  • The number of scholarships in 2nd and subsequent years shall be equivalent to the number of scholarships granted in the 1st year.
  • Academic performance of a student shall be the sole criteria for continuation of scholarship. Scholarships starting from highest slab shall be granted based on the position in the merit list prepared School wise and to be eligible, Minimum 8.0 CGPA to be maintained
  • Scholarship will be awarded on Tuition Fee only. (Foreign Tour charges shall not be included)
  • A scholarship does not apply to MBA Supply Chain Management & Logistics, BBA/B.Com. ACCA, B.Tech IBM and B.Sc. Animation & VFX.
  • A scholarship will not apply if there is a gap between academic sessions.
  • Maximum one scholarship can be availed by the student whichever is the higher one.
  • Only those students who cleared their intermediate in 2017/2018 would be eligible for a scholarship.
  • The last date to avail scholarship is 30th June 2018.

#SSE - Senior Secondary Examination

Education Loan

Sharda University aims to support deserving/meritorious students in availing financial assistance for pursuing their higher education. To encourage students to take up higher education despite their financial shortcomings.

Students can avail a loan from any bank. However, for the benefit of its students, Sharda University has tie-ups with the following banks:

We help our students in speedy disposal of their loan applications across the country. During June-August, a kiosk is set up inside the University for the benefit of students seeking financial assistance from the bank.

Procedure for Availing Bank Loan Assistance

Students who want to apply for Educational Loan will need an offer letter from the University. The University will provide the requisite offer letter as required by the bank for loan purposes, as and if believed appropriate.
However, the students and their parents/guardians shall be responsible for obtaining sanction and repayment of the sanctioned loan and all kinds of liabilities and consequences arising thereof, if any. The University shall not be liable and responsible in this regard.

Economically Weaker Section (EWS) - Guidelines for Education Loan

Central Scheme to provide Interest Subsidy for the period of moratorium on Educational Loans taken by students from economically weaker sections from scheduled banks under the Model Education Loan Scheme of IBA.

    Housed in spacious halls, the Libraries are well stacked with textbooks, technical journals, periodicals, and reference material for advanced research and development work. The schools also subscribe to DELNET and other Internet Libraries. It remains open 14 hours a day from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. on all days, and up to 19-20 hours a day during examinations.

    The Teaching-Learning pedagogy used in the classrooms is IT enabled, and all classrooms are fitted with LCD projectors and sound systems. The lecture halls can accommodate up to 200 students while the tutorial classes are designed for strength of 30-40 students.

    Sharda University has excellent laboratory facilities for carrying out teaching, research and consultancy activities in various disciplines of engineering, medical, dental sciences and mass communication.
