Overview
Sharda University is a collaborative centre for providing an innovative education filled with discovery, and dissemination of knowledge. The proposed B. Tech programmes at the university allow aspirants to gain an understanding of different engineering functions and to grow individual networks through cross-functional relationships. For students who wish to move forward with a higher degree and advanced knowledge of various disciplines combining aspects of technical perspectives and managerial concepts can choose from our broad spectrum of integrated programmes.

Eligibility Criteria
- Matriculation with 60% marks, Sr. Secondary (10+2) with minimum 70% (Aggregate) & minimum 60% marks in PCM, Computer Science/PCB for Biotechnology.
- Minimum 50% marks in Maths
+ - SUAT (Online Test), Followed by Personal Interview
or - JEE All India Rank up to 3 Lakh
or - UPSEE All India Rank up to 50,000
Scholarships granted based on Academic Merits:
Right to Education is one of the fundamental rights of every Indian citizen. Sharda University believes that money should not be a road block for a student with innovative ideas in his mind and passion in his heart. We extend scholarships and financial assistance to meritorious students based on their academic achievements.
A number of scholarships are offered to students depending on the academic credentials and their achievements in sporting and cultural arena. The University grants full to partial waiver on tuition fees payable by the student.
Scholarships granted based on Academic Merits:
The students on their satisfactory performance in Sharda University Admission Test (SUAT), Personal Interview (PI) and depending on their merit in qualifying exams, shall be eligible for the grant of the following merit scholarships:

Sports Category Scholarships
The students who have excelled in sporting activities at National & State Level will be eligible for Sports Scholarship from 10% to 100% on tuition fee in 1st year. For updated & detailed information on the nature of Sports and the Eligibility criteria you may visit the University campus.

Sibling Scholarship
Fee waiver of 5% in 1st year for student whose sibling is pursuing education at the university. Proof of relation is required.

Innovative Idea Scholarship
10% to 100% based only innovation ideas that get selected by committee for innovation
Note:
- The number of scholarships in 2nd and subsequent years shall be as per scholarships continuation policy 2025-26.
- Academic performance of a student shall be the sole criteria for continuation of scholarship. Scholarships starting from highest slab shall be granted based on the position in merit list prepared School wise.
- Scholarship continuation eligibility: Minimum 8.00 CGPA and 75% attendance, no FI/FR/or any other backlog. Detailed Scholarship Continuation Policy will be available on website by 31st Dec.
- Scholarship will be awarded on Tuition Fee only. (Foreign Touro any other charges shall not be included)
- Scholarship would not apply if there is gap between academic sessions.
- Only those students who have cleared their examination in 2023/2024 would be eligible for scholarship.
- Maximum one Scholarship can be availed by the students whichever is higher.
- Reservation Policy applicable as directed by U.P. Government / Sharda University Ordinance.
- Scholarship granted provisionally is liable to get revoked if full semester fee is not paid within timeline as mentioned in provisional Admission letter or 30 days, whichever is earlier.
- Scholarship will only be granted if 10th & 12th board is same.
- For non tech programmed aggregate percentage will be calculated on the basis of marks scored in English & three academic subjects (compulsory including subjects of eligibility AND excluding Physical Education, Fine Arts, Performing Arts or any Vocational/Non-Written subjects). These subjects will be considered for respective/select disciplines.
- Students seeking scholarship based on JEE Mains score may note that we have limited seats under this category and the same will be allotted on first-cum-first serve basis.
- Students will be required to pay the full fees initially. The excess amount accruing due to scholarship will be adjusted against payment for Semester-ll.
- Grant of scholarship is subject to approval of the Scholarship Committee.
- No scholarship request shall be considered post 31st October of the admission year (in case of result waited cases or any other case).
- Limited Scholarship seats are available, which will be offered on first-cum-first serve basis.
- The Scholarship committee reserve the right to review, modify or cancel the awarded scholarship due to any given circumstances as notified by the University.

Education Loan Assistance
Sharda University aims to support deserving/meritorious students in availing financial assistance for pursuing their higher education. In order to encourage students to take up higher education despite their financial shortcomings, nowadays, most banks are providing attractive loan facility to students.

We help our students in speedy disposal of their loan applications across the country. During June-August, a kiosk is set up inside the University for the benefit of students seeking financial assistance from the bank.
Procedure for Availing Bank Loan Assistance
Students who want to apply for Educational Loan will need an offer letter from the University. The University will provide the requisite offer letter as required by the bank for loan purposes, as and if believed appropriate.
However, the students and their parents/guardians shall be responsible for obtaining sanction and repayment of the sanctioned loan and all kinds of liabilities and consequences arising thereof, if any. The University shall not be liable and responsible in this regard.
A. Yes! All the degrees offered after successful completion of a programme at Sharda University are recognized by the UGC (Universities Grants Commission)

A. Admission procedure for UG/PG/Diploma programmes (other than MBBS, BDS & MD programmes) is as follows (i). Students can purchase Application Form either in Cash or through DD/Challan/Online. (II). SUAT – 2019 can be attempted either at Sharda University Campus or any of the approved ‘Attested Centres. (iii). Successful applicants after verification of documents will be called for GD/PI at Sharda University Campus.

A. Btech in Computer science includes the study of various aspects of computing, from the design of individual microprocessors, personal computers and supercomputers to circuit designing and writing software that powers them whereas Btech in IT deals with the study of the use of electronic computers and computer software to store, protect process, transmit and securely retrieve data.
A. The noticeable benefit of the integrated degree is that it saves a year of the student. The integrated courses considerably enhance the efficiency of the students and the effectiveness of the knowledge programme. This occurs because the students get bachelor's and master's degree from the same institute at the same time.
A. The centralized Placement-Cell handles all placements activities. A large number of Engineering students desiring placement have been interviewed by visiting companies.
A. Candidates who have successfully passed SUAT 2019 will be called for a Personal Interview and group discussion round at the university campus or regional offices for the institutions. Students who have cleared the PI and GD round can then secure their seat in the institution by paying the tuition fee.
